Hi all,
Has anyone here worked at Yell.com (yellow pages) within a sales role i.e "sales consultant/sales exceutive/indoor sales executive/field sales executive?"
Because a job vacancy has arrose recently for this that i'm intrested in, wanted to know if anyone here works or knows anyone who has worked in this field of work?
If so, what is it like for targets, bonuses, etc!
Any help would be appreciated

I've went through the interview stages with yell, my old boss worked there as an account manager/sales executive.
Really good money to be made, O.T.E £35K in first year if good enough.
There's five interview stages
1. Phone interview
2. Assesment day in hotel with different stages
3. Panel of 4 senior management interview including roleplay etc
4. Panel of 4 Cheif executive officers, intensive interview
5. 3 week intensive training in London, 95% pass rate per day must be achieved or you will be refused the job
Really tough to get in but realy rewarding job once you get there.
I passed the interview and was offered a account manger job but got a better one working with HP on better money
Go for it mate, even if you don't get the job you'll learn alot!
Hope this helps
