well i think it says something when the majority who have drilled there air boxes and put in panel filter or whatever say it works well and i agree

yeah i will get a panel filter and see how it goes then. it was really when i pull away from a set of lights and i noticed it and i thought to myself it wasnt this bad with the induction kit on.

It has a bigger surface area than panel filter, will be kept cool by airbox, still get ind sound (if you like that sort of thing)

no im not in it for the sound i just want my car to run a bit more better when pulling away it just seemed soo slugish.

Hi guys, I was thinking of drilling holes in my airbox. The main reason i was going to do this was for the noise. can u really hear it and do you need to change the panel airfilter to get this noise?

dont drill it, remove the internals of the airbox and fit a K&N or PiperX ind inside the box, will be louder than panel filter and still reduce heatsoak

I say get some pipework in there to relocate the induction kit down the wing to colder air.
Mine is hardly ideal but it looks like this...

which would be the cheapest panal airfilter i could put in my airbox and do u think i will really be able 2 hear it seeing as iv only got a 1.0litre? which part of the airbox would be best to drill?
