what is usually replaced in an engine rebuild? head and bottom end.

all the gaskets, bearings, cam seals, valves are reseated, piston rings, maybe have the bores honed if you're going all the way.

all gaskets
valves (which are ground in again for good seal)
valve guides
valve springs
tappets
head bolts -obviously
cam seals
bearings
dont know about bottom end
piston rings and maybe more
