How big are the margins for most people?

My router @ Ally's is syncing at 7400kbps and im getting the below which is perfect....

However at home im syncing at 6232kbps and am getting less than half of that, even though the line has been stable for over a week......

check with your ISP to see what level has been set on your BRAS profile. If at any point you have synced lower than that, then the limit set in your profile will reflect that.

This is my point. The BRAS profile is supposed to change after 3 days of a stable line yet mine hasnt shifted. Its been reset before as they thought it was stuck but its done the same.

I also have interleaving switched off, do you think this would have a bearing?
