Yesh according to her the water is squirting out the top with the cap tight on And yesh she just filled it up to the brim heard it gurgle through the pipes and thought it was fine.

yes it is, takes some looking after though & shouldnt really be an every day car!! I wouldnt have one!!

nice we car that 2

so far mines hasent let me down "touch wood" and im using it more than any of my others as it so much cheaper to run

It's due an MOT in May, so think we'll get it through that then try and sell it. Its a shame cos its a nice car, and tbh its only broken down twice since we got it. Problem was it cost £1250 to get it running again the last time, and now this

Try a new radiator cap first of all, it's unlikely the HG would have gone after 8 miles.

There not expensive to buy tbh.

Shop around, Henry Brothers in Glasgow are doing them for 6500/7000 for cracking ones just now because the new Mini is out.
