when you fit lockwood dials do you take the old dials off?

if you do how do you do it.

atm i have these over the top of my old dials (link at the bottom of the page). i was thinking about taking the old dials out from underneath. although it does say that they are ment to go over the top i think they would fit better if the old ones wernt there.

opinions would be great.

nope. hardest part was getting behind the sidelight switch. apart from that pretty easy.

so all i wanna know is whether to take the stock ones off or not (so they fit better and i dont have the others underneath)
