bought some rev counter clocks and i cant seem to find the green wire on my car, its a 1.2 bv twist 1997, ive used the search option and 1 of the posts said its in the drivers foot well ??? if not how do i wire it up my self?

remove the plastic bit that covers the ecu. get a multimetre and start the car look for all the pea green wires and the one you wont will have a pulse reading

if you unscrew the panel in the drivers footwell that will reveal the ECU!

did it yesturday and it revealed a bunch of cables, there was 4 pea green cables visable. there will be a connector block running up with about 8 wires from it. if you look before the connector block you should see a pea green wire,

cut it and wire a fresh cable up to the connector block that connects to the speedo.

5th slot on the top row.

ive wired the pea green wire up now but the only thing is the car redlins at 1000revs :S av i done something rong??
