just wondering for a 2.0 16v corsa, if:
what car the c20xe has come out of affects the insurance of the 2.0 corsa?
for example: would insurance on a valver corsa with an engine from an astra gte be cheaper or more expensive than insurance on a vavler corsa with an engine from a calibra or cav?
if this does affect insurance, which original car would give the cheapest insurance for the corsa?

Depends on insurance company.
But yes, if you ring up, you should tell them what the car was.
Some go off the car the engine came out of, and do quote though that, others just put engine conversion down, depends on insurance company.
