my mate has done a redtop conversion in a t reg same as mine corsa, its all done but the car starts and dies with in seconds, can anyone shed some lite on this for me, some one said fuel pump but im puzzled, all help wud be great thanks

It could be loads of things.
Fuel pump cranks on as soon as the ignition is on so listen out to see if you can hear it turn on.
Best bet is an ECU diagnostic. Most likely a sensor is at fault (i.e. AFM)

would be worth checkiing a few sensors like AFM, ICV, Fuel Pump Relay
mine did that in the early days of having it
cant really remeber what else, been a while since my one did the searching for rev's thing

try the plug for wat fuel type it is mine did that turnt it round and was fine

thanks for all the help. also the wirin loom didnt look to good , cud that be it. had a lad from vauxhall look today, so its late nites in garage
