those who keep getting egr fault code, after fitting a mantzel, and egr blanking plate etc....
someone on here persists in saying you need a vaccume going to the plate to stop the code generating.
ITS ALL A LIE!

did you connect it up using copper pipe to the actual mantzel box? or a bit of rubber hose to the vaccum system?

silicone pipeing to the mantzel box.....
anywhich way, thinking about it it wouldnt work.....
the area which the plate covers is hollow...theres no use for it...thats why its blanked.
the valve is also blanked....

did you disconnect battery for 30 mins or so to reset and faults in memory?

well thats why then you numpty. unblank the egr valve and then it will work.

i once again bow down to you david.
the egr valve piston was coked up.....
but since a little cleaning session, and a 100mile drive....
the EML LIGHT STAYS OFF!
