Remember its not the government that own this road - hence why you pay.

The dangerous driving is because its not a "public" road for the same reasons above.

It's true, when driving, how are they any different from an able bodied person?

Having said that, Mum's got one as she's physically disabled, and the number of tmes we travel up to Bolton it makes a difference being able to avoid Brum and cut the journey time down as she's in less pain by the time we arrive.

In rush hour? Yes, any other time it's not worth the cash.

Good for top speed runs though .
Disagree... twice in theast year I have got caught in huge delays in the middle of a week day past Birmingham, third time i learned and used the m6 toll and got home an hour quicker

Funny, I thought this thread was going to be about people with M6s having to pay road tolls.

It really does depend on where you are traveking to, I live on the southern outskirts of birmingham and used to work in manchester, It was of no use at all to me as the delays it cut out from the stafford down to the m5 junction were just replaced by the ones where traffic was leaving the m6 toll to go on the m42 for the south of birmingham
