I remember someone saying to me ARP bolts alone will reinforce the engine somewhat. What are the advantages or using these over standard head bolts?

They are stronger, thus less likely to snap.

Its coming off soon and an 280 cam going in, bottom will cope but its reassurance at least I suppose.

The other bonus is the fact that you can re-use them as they're not stretch bolts.

yes as robin said normal head bolts stretch so you can only use them once whereas with the arp bolts you can have the head off an on as many times as you like and still keep the same bolts.

Thats good. Better be able to for the money though, youd be gutted if you timed it wrong and you had to take them off

then you need t obu ya cometic head gasket, id say the money can be spend better else where personally! you could buy 10 sets of head bolts for the arp kit....
