Sport interior is far nicer imo. It's black, not tacky grey.

i want GSi skirts for mine. that was the one thing that definately should have stayed on the sport: nice skirts

as for the interior. i reckon cleaned up it would be nice (i want to find a nicer interior)

but i still like the GSi interior.

Pre facelift sport interior (spotty door cards) looks really dated IMO. Facelift with black door cards looks loads better .

i prefered my gsi's interior to my newer sport's interior.

GSi one was far more softer and more comfortable.

SRi > 1.4 Sport
GSi > 1.6 Sport

I don't know for sure, I'm assuming Vauxhall got rid of the body kit (for the GSi replacement) for insurance and overall build cost purposes (ie. cheaper to make and insure)?

i think gsi interiors are horrid and so are the sri 1s, they are probably comfortable because there so old and worn in, sport is way better, wish the sport had gsi bumpers and skirts though, but you can keep the twin 3 spokes

The GLS interior on post-97 models with Sport seats would be best imho - but the material isn't as soft.
