On one of my mates car, theres a strong smell of petrol, outside not inside, but we've both checked over it and theres no leak at all... looked everywhere and theres no leak!

Anyone have a guess at what i might be..?

Did he put the petrol filler cap back in after filling up?

i had that problem on my corsa and it was a tiny split on the seam on the petrol tank. worth a look

park on a bank, try forward and backward, make sure he has a full tank, when you go back if hes got less its a leak
