i been getting this sort of knocking sound which has gotten slightly worse over the past week, havnt had time to check it out... but it only happens while driving, and going over bumpy roads etc
sounds lke its comming from the rear seat belt area??
any ideas??

Top of your suspension mount. Could be worn or split rubbers. Or shock on it's way out. Both easy enough to change just shock will cost more.

its a chartistis or the car 
mine knocks over bumps, seat squeeks, trim rattles, but hay thats what the volumes for on the head unit

Yes i agree. I get a very annoying seat squeak at bout 80mph. Go 90 and it goes!

the fk coilover suspension kit i got is only about 2 years old though! i had a very quick look at the top mount and the nut, and it seems to be fine, nut is still tight and no sign or wear and tear!
the knocking sounds closer though, like its in the side panel at the seatbelt section or before it some were??
