They did let him drive home though. So, he was caught pissed driving, and arrested, and then let on his way, pissed.
WTF is that about.

Well it hasn't obviously worked so far by putting them in jail cos Jermaine Pennant, Tony Adams, Lee Hughes, Terry Fenwick and George Best were all jailed in the past for drink driving And dare I say even what happened to Jimmy Davis hasn't deterred them either

I was intreeged to see how it was being investigated. Its one of the most easily defined guilty or not cases as they have to breathalise you at the station. If you pass = innocent, fail = guilty.
[Unless he said he was not driving etc which it does not look like is the case]
IMO he should be banned like anyone else who drink drives. He is rich enough to pay for a taxi but its a bloody annoying inconvenience which he should have to put up with
[obviously if innocent then he should be let off]

My Brother knows Sean St Ledger and Dave Nugent - Both always out pissed, Ledger got Nugent to drive him home in his RR Sport, Nugent didn't have insurance etc and got done. Most footballers are idiots aren't they. Hope he does get a ban etc

I was out that night, was outside of Squires. He only got about 100m down the road before he got pulled over

Well in the Sun yesterday it says he was arrested around 5am and they kept him in until 10am. In all honesty I shouldn't think they would have let him go home until he had sobered up/the breathalyser result was within the limit. And I doubt they would have let him drive home either...?
