My mate has just bought this :
7" motorised Headunit
to go into his Corsa Sport 1.4.
Does anyone know if he HAS to connect it to the handbrake cable or will it work without having to do this?

apparently he said it needs to be connected to the handbrake so it won't work while you are driving along.

Haha dont be daft. Get it put in, my mate has a £800 alpine dvd headunit and he had the screen up when he is driving.

ive got that one mate,they connected it to the hand break etc, but you can go to setting and turn 'Parking' Off!, Hope That Helps

all you need to do is wire it up to an earth.

cut the handbreak wire and connect it to the back cable (gnd) that overides the handbreak problem.
