Having issues getting gears in my Corsa at the moment, Gear selector feels a bit weird and is moving about.

2nd is an absoloute pain in the arse to get hold of - 9 times out of 10 the car will go from 1st to 4th and has only been doing it badly this morning.

The Conversion is using Corsa Linkeage with no M-Tech Spacer and has been fine up until then...

Just going to go back downstairs and have a poke at the linkage now.

Just been out to the car and had a look. Seems the plastic Peg that locks the linkage is missing. Will replace and see if that helps...

I didn't have fith for months in my old blue corsa Would topout at 120 in fourth, and just driving at 70mph would drink the fuel! 800 quid later i had bought a new gearbox should have just got one from a scrappy

Hope you get it sorted, gears are such arses. Used to get really annoyed with mine.

Phil,

It might be worth re-aligning the linkage.

Its possible the selector rod has slipped slightly in the clamp...re-align it and do it up tight!!!

Do you know how to lock it off and all that?
