my speedo on my corsa b doesn't seem to be working the rev counter and fuel gauge works just the 0-130 doesnt move anywhere, the management light is also on what could this be?!! any help would be grateful thanks!

also one of my fuses keeps on blowing, it is a 20amp fuse everytime i put a new fuse in 5 minutes later it is blown again??? thanks

What number fuse is it? Tell us that and we can tell you what electric circit it fuses and therefore tell you what could be at fault

It's the orange fuse I think, There is a spare one underneath it horizontally.

Just have a look if its the fuse, take it off and you'll see straight away

yeh the fuse number is 18, it just blows every time i put a new fuse in there?? interior light is still working but the cigarrette lighter has been disconnected since a year ago when i got it????

Check the wiring to the sender, sounds like its shorting somewhere.

well, if the interior light works, the fuse for the speedo is fine too.

it will be ure cigerette lighter fuse thats blow...i got a penny stuck in mine and it blew the fuse...its the electrical speedo fuse too so u loose ure speedo its ermmm 18?? look at haynes if uve got it

my interior light was working when me fuse blown im sure...cud be wrong but pretty sure it was working thats why i was confused to as if my speedo was broke or not

Will i benefit from doing the paper clip test on this??? or will that just be a waste of time if a wire is shorted? see the management light does come on..... and stays on thanks..

It doesn't run from the same fuse as the interior light.

It shares the fuse with the cig lighter, and heated rear window if i remember rightly.
Its fuse 18, a 20A.
Interior light etc is the fuse next to it.

When my speedo stopped, my interior light didn't work, I remember, as it was dark and I had no light to change the fuse...

This was with the 1.4, my speedo never worked with the 1.6, wasn't even plugged in

FUCKIN RESULT rac came out yday and the bloke found the problem, where the previous owner disconnected the cig lighter he taped both the wires for the cig lighter together.... this was short circuiting... THANKS ALOT FOR ALL YOUR HELP
