My sirocco fell apart & all the ball bearings fell out, obviously a faulty slide mechanism
Sent it in 2 weeks ago & heard nothing. Started chasing it all up today& it turns out they wanted to charge me £84 for the repair as its classed as "wear & tear"
Other option was to pay £25 excess on insurance & have it sent back to unrepaired so could then send it to a different O2 repair centre for them to do a repair under insurance
Pointed out that on a 12 month contract, with a phone that has a 24 month warranty I really expected it to last longer than 6 months before anything wore out
So they put me on hold for about 10 mins & then told me that there doing an advance exchange. Basically they will send out a new handset & once my phone is back from the repair centre I have to post it to them in a pre-paid envelope
Im considering not sending it though Any ideas what might happen if I don't?
Anyone work for them & know the answer to this?

Jus dont send it, it wont be worth their effort to chase it up

I did this before Matt and got fooked for it
They will keep chasing you up as it'll keep flashing up on the system as not been returned.

id wait it out and see what happens. let them chase you for it, if they call you once, dont send it, let them call u the 2nd time, after that, send it.

get the phone back and get it repaired at your locl phone shop, o2 are crap for this,
