car hesitates when im a wee bit away from my house after starting. also the EM light comes on occasionaly around 60mph. dosent seem happy at 4k+ rpm either. any ideas what could cause this? could it have anything to do with the chunk i sawed off the side off my airbox lol?

Could do, might be sucking in too much hot air making it bog down. If the EM light stays on for a long time, it should log a fault code, so get it on a diagnostic machine.

the EM light goes off if you back off to 50mph. this morning i tried going past 4krpm which i haven't done for a while because of this and the EM light came on.

Plug it into the diagnostics machine, its the only way to find out wot the problem is - this will prob cost about £20 - £30

My EM light is on constantly now, doesn't seem to be causing me any majour problems.
