Got a screw in my rear tyre so goin to buy 2 new rear ones and swap them over with the front, What 195/45/15 tyres do people recommend? I have toyos atm but dont like in the wet, had uniroyal rainsports before and they were gd 16" tyres though. i want something grippy both dry and wet, either:

- uniroyal rainsports
- eagle f1's
- other options

Let me know your experiences

Cheers

Ive had Toyo's and they wear out well too quickly. Yokohama's are just wank IMO. So next im going to try the Uniroyal Rainsports and my mate is going to try out the Eagle F1's.. Both of these seem to come out on top for tyre choices!

I have, would hapily have either. have just put 4 new rainsports on the new Mo's.

(only reason for choosing rainsports over teh F1 was that they had 4 rainsports in and ony 3 f1's)

what size and width wheels? how low? thats an important factor

I'd recommend eagle f1's personally. I have tried many variants of tyres over the years and these offer the best all round package for our roads imo. In the dry they offer masses of grip and gently break away when on the limit, in the wet i have the same confidence, i actually use them on track for wets. At llandow last year i was having to rotate them after each time out due to far to much abuse even tho it was piddling down

I have tried A539's and the variants before them and never liked them, i just didnt have any confidence in them which means alot when its the bit of rubber that keeps car on tarmac lol.

At the end of the day tyre choice is a personal thing as people will never agree
