might buy 205/45/16 wheels instead of 4 brand new tyres. But my Corsa B is lowered 60mm and would they scrub? Offset is 49

Id recon they will scrub at that size but just my guess work lol, it aint hard modding the arches anyway... do what i did xD, get a willing mate to do it for you (he cut his hands a lot btw lol!)

grind the lip off and then in an extreme case grind the end of the center bolt holding the outer arch trim down

They might at first but if the tyres take the plastic arch back that'll save you a job. They are very big though, it might look a little strange.

nope. dont think so, you will need proper coilovers at the back or custom springs
