I Really like to leave this forum to run itself but lately I see more abuse to members..
If it continues I'm going to have to moderate with a firmer hand which I do not want to do...
Banter is all well and good and football related threads especially can get heated and that in itself is fine...
But if someone posts about his team and all he gets is spam!, your a twat!,chav! etc it's not on....
1/2 the posts in here could be construed as spam...

yes, but when someone has already started 3 or 4 posts about the same thing then surely it is spam and those posts calling the thread Spam are infact correct.
And Marc, thats spam, I call for his banning!

I think for the most part the banter is taken well, even Topshot takes the Spurs banter and dishes it back out 
The thing that needs moderated more recently is the ineligible posts that no one can make out and contain far too much over punctuation!

Its frustarting coz people come on here to talk about football and have genuine abnter, but I think there is 5 threads on the first page all about derby county!! its ruining the fact this section is called football chat and should be renamed "derby county are the best team in the world chat"

His team have a chance of reaching the premiership. if/when they lose, he'll go quiet. you're lucky i didnt make a million seperate threads when italy won the world cup...i know most would have if england won it.

FFS mav, there's no need. let it go. You just prepare you self for the amount of bollocks tom and cosmo will post if liverpool win the champions league....and the amount of crap i'll post if milan win

There's a difference between winning a World Cup, the Champions League and a Play off Semi Final
Even still he can be as happy as he wishes but just make his posts readable and not post up several different threads full of multiple letters and exclamation points, everybody gets the point, he's happy.

I apologise for the exxagerated name calling, it probably boils down to the fatc that my team had an appauling end to the season and went 19 games without a win haha
