what are good product to wash and protect my car's paintwork?
it's black.
Shampoo - I use Auto Glym Bodywork Shampoo
Clay Bar - Recommend One?
Polish - Recommend One? (Is there one for darker cars which autoglym make)?
Wax - Collinite 476s as recommended by abdul
Sealant - Recommend One?
sick of making my car all shiny then it getting dirty again + i have bits of tar on the doors i can't get off with normal washing.

Firstly, process should be. Wash>Clay>Polish>Sealent>Wax
Recomend Meguiars Clay bar kit. Autoglym super resin polish, and Poorboys EX-P sealant.

Sealant - Seals the wax in to make it last longer and adds to the shine

Firstly a clay bar removes surface debris (tree sap, old wax etc). It is used prior to polishing, to act as a good base to polishing contaninent free paintwork.
Sealant comes after polishing mate. The wax then provides protection from UV rays etc and provides the shine.

For the polish, id use Super sesin polish, then Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine.
Sounds a good little list. Halfords still doing the 3for2 then?

I normally just give it a hose down & quick clean with Autoglym Shampoo, do the alloys with wonderwheels & thats it!!
I have a clay bar & super resin polish just incase ive twatted alot of flies & the power hose doesnt remove it. Not very often though, infact I think ive only ever used it once!!

Really quite impressed with the Mcguiers Clay Bar kit & Gold Class!!!Soooo Smooth and perfect Finish....
I even Bought the Mcguiers Scratch remover Stuff, which isnt to bad, but not overly the best hting since sliced bread, i htink the answer the bigger scratches is justhaving the whole panels repainted... But Give that clay bar kit a try!!!
We did the bonnet first and work the way round the rest of car. Id suggest doing it bit by bit;
