They'll spend again, they're being very astute this year doing their business behind closed doors, as soon as Chelsea get a sniff of a high profile target the price goes up 5 million and the wages 50k.

Ferguson said as much in a press conference recently quoting Essien as an example.

They'll buy someone, but nothing in the same price range as they have been spending IMO.

suprised theres no striker yet.

unless fergie is considering playing mainly a 4-5-1 next season but rooney as lone striker is not usually a good thing.

Spose we will have rooney, saha, smith, rossi and ole like

i still think they'll sign someone, they could be looking at a player from spain, as the league hasnt finished there yet

maybe a more experienced striker

i know, theyve spent nearly 50million and the bloody transfer window hasnt opened yet

They don't need a striker, the players they've recently bought tells me that they aren't looking for one, because you would have Anderson in the hole, that's where he plays. Nani and C.Ronaldo either side, that's a good 4some attack, with Carrick and Scholes behind them.
