I want to get the "euro" effect on my wheels by stretching the tyres, the current tyres are 195 40 or 45(cant rem off top of head) R15

the rims are 7 inch wide, can someone tell me which tyre size to get if i want the stretched look

165/50 15 or 175/50 15.

Obviously the 165s will give more of a 'stretch'.

will tyre places fit them? as they are the "wrong size"

They should do, the place I worked at would have done, no reason not to really, if they fit and hold air, without looking like they're going to come off (which neither of those sizes would) then they'll do it.
