has anyone got pics of or can explain the differences between the C16XE/X16xe lower inlet please?

C16XE one has little raised ovals round the tops of the ports, X16XE one is flat. C16XE one has slightly larger ports throughout the manifold too.

oh thanks, the reason i ask is becuase when i done my head gasket and cambelt i noticed it had new bolts on the lower inlet, it seems that it has got the X16XE inlet. i think my car may of had a mantzel or something similar.

its the plastic one but its been hacked about to fit the lower inlet ill get some pics of the lower inlet when i get it off tomorrow.

also its got like a big thick rubber gasket

yep ive deffo got the X16 one. looks like ill have to get the X16 gasket when i fit my upper inlet. thanks guys

Broster made it from a standard one, a hacksaw and some black paint, trim the edge off and you're left with that, fairly easy to do
