The buckle that you plug the drivers seatbelt into appears to have broken i.e. it appears to be stuck in the down position and no longer grips the metal belt bit meaning I have to use the passenger one at the moment.

I phoned the local dealer and found they have 2 different ways of fixing it... buy the proper replacement with the whole pretensioner unit for £178.68!!! or get the older standard mount that just bolts to the floor for £13.63

The problem is I can't find the mounting point on the floor, does anyone know where this can be found? I haven't taken up the carpet yet, i was hoping to avoid doing so.

Alternatively does anyone sell the bit I need to fix the existing one without having to replace the whole thing?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Cheers

Thanks, does anyone know if this is an easy job? Can the old one be removed and replaced with nothing more than a set of spanners?

Cheers
