putting my new engine in on thursday, but im gonna clean the bay up a little bit.
Im not bothered about the bay being all painted and looking nice, but im sanding down rust and spraying it, whats best to spray it with? High build primer and then rattle can paint - or is there anything else i can use?

if your sanding down to bare metal its best to use an etching primer. this stops the metal from rusting again. 2 coats of this and maybe 1 or 2 coats of normal primer then your colour. cans will probably be fine for this as you wont be worrying about detail.
