I have a C16XE with notorius oil leaking prob from the sump.

changin oil pump and releif valve as the last thing.

my question is, can i just put a X16XE bottom end on me C16XE? as in just replace the bottom ends?

well after changing oil pump,releif valve, oil seals, NEW sump pan, gaskets, oil pressure sensor, return pipe, oil pick up pipe, new bolts and head gasket, i dont know what else to do.

you have any idea?

sump gasket i think

the oil drips onto the exhaust and you get smoke coming from the underside of the car while driving alone due to oil on downpipe! (only at high revs aka booting it)

i surguested the oil pressure could be over pressureising due to the oil releif not working correctly and blowing the gasket

so he has replaced the oil pump and still has the same problem so i gather

the oil pump and relief valve is the last step mate.

was just getting an idea of what i can do if this last bit dont go to plan.

maybe XE time.
