Right
Fitted XE in to corsa recently and 2nd, & 4th are bad to get into gear due to the transponder rubbing or touching the gear linkage on gertain gears.
Ive been given the option of removing the transponder and Speedo/Dials and replacing with a manual cable driven style pre 97 Speedo/Dials.
Just wondering is this the only option or is there another way around it.

all my gears worked with electric transpoder in place on my car when it was an xe

soo do mine but 2nd is just a bit tight to get in to. is urs a 97 car + with c20xe f20 box

are you sure the problem isnt with the linkage hitting the steering rack

mine is 98 and was a c20xe with f20
have you adjusted the linkage?
i now have let on 6speed and have no problems with that

check the linakge,
I have a 98 sprot, electric dial/speedo, i have a short shifter on the f20 box, BUT i get all gears and the speedo work perfectly!
