Text I HAVE A CORSA 1.2 MERIT, P REG, 3 DOOR im new into all of this modding and wondered if there is any cheap items out there somewhere or if anyone knos of anything to help me increase my peformance

tbh mate, jus make it look nice - a 1.2 8v will not be going anywhere in a hurry. May aswel save ur money and buy a fast car Or tune a 1.4 16v/1.6 16v

2bh your not really gonna get much fro a 1.2 engine,

Depends what you want, you will never get much if any speed out of your 1.2 8v (trust me I tried!)

Just do as said before, make it look nice

only way to increase performance is to change the engine to a better more powerfull one

Best way to make it quicker is to upgrade the brakes and suspension. You could get more power out of the 1.2 eg webers 40's but IMO its not worth it.

thinking about it the best way to get a 1.2 to go faster is probably stripping the interior out.

Yeah stripping it, or if you have the money engine conversion. Dont get new air filters or an exhaust looking for extra power outa them cos it wont happen despite wot ebay will tell you. Will give you a better sound though.

1.2 8v spi merit, dont bother spending money on trying to get this engine to be better.

save your money and put a different engine in.

if you cant afford to do a engine conversion, sell your merit and buy another corsa that already has a decent size engine in it

to be honest the merit is the worst model for performance even the 1.0 12v leaves it for dust
