my head gasket has gone on my C14NZ, ive ordered a whole new gasket and o-ring set off ebay, i'm goin to change the head gasket and inlet gaskets and rocker cover gaskets, and do the timing belt this weekend.
i was just wondering what else should i look sorting out at whilst ive got the head off the engine??  thanks

oil stem seals are a good idea and also id change the water pump whilst the tiing belt is off.

if its the set that has the head gasket and a load of other gaskets and seals then id do it all to be sure of a good job mate.Id deffo do the water pump and whilst the heads off id clean the icv and agr valve up as theyre a bitch to get to otherwise.

did you mean EGR valve? never heard of AGR valve, i dont know too much about corsas though. first attempt at a headgasket, wheres the EGR valve located as well?? thanks in advance.

yeah i meant the egr valve mate!Its on the back of the lower inlet.
