The wire im holding... thermo stat aint working now its off, im CLUELESS been looking for about a hour

Dave A should be able to tell me where it goes within about 20 seconds

Also any ideas why its running poopy, took 3rd lead off makes no difference to the running, changed plug twice and lead sparks... my mate said might be a engine earth so im gonna try clamping a jump lead to it then onto the car to see....

it goes onto the small flat round piece under the blue plug on the thermostat housing in the pic.
