urgent help needed with my 1.6 16v corsa sport its running ok but its burning oil for fun spent over 40bucks this month on it the car has only done 46k and starts up fine no rattles or tht jst tht it keeps puffing out blue smoke at low revs whn am driving along and accelerate any ideas would b much appreaciated thnx

Piston rings
Or Stem seals.

Seals usually blow smoke when first starting the car in the morning, or on overrun.
Pistons rings under load(aceleration)

so would i b better 2 put a new head on it or fix mine or drop a new engine wot wot b easier and cheaper

Ermm.......stem seals wont cost much at all (ebay 5-6 quid I think) piston rings aren't cheap, I've been told between £100 and £200 for a set.
