meryl = dead how is she in it?
vamp = dead how is he in it?
also where is the link between this and sons of liberty? at the end of sons we saw snake dive in after ocelot, were missing a huge chunk of story

Vamp can never really do though can he? Meryl should have died in MGS though... Perhaps the link will be revealed when you're stuck on your codec talking to 40 different people for about 2 hours before you actually start the game.
