ok,after the 5 week wait i have just had to get these gaz coilovers i have removed the old spring from the standard strut, binned the rubber bit on the standard spring seat and fitted as they came off but on to my new coilover strut,on top of the black coil spring seat, but the standard spring seat seems to press down on the coilover one not allowing it to pivot,it is doin my head in so much, thought i had made sum progress when they arrived but seems tht i have them sitting at home but cant use them, they seem as if they are too tight or too slack,no inbetween, just cant seem to get them right, have any of u got any suggestions or pics, thanks,Liam

remove the standard metal spring seat, its no use keeping it. to help it pivot a bit easier get 2 stainless washers and grease them up well. place these between the Gaz top spring cup and the metal standard cone bit. stops wear over time.

think you have fitted something wrong somewhere. once the topnut has been tightened right up there wont be any gaps.
