Well, a work friend of mine has recommened an alternative to spacers and i just want to know if anyone has done it before.
Rather than using a set of hub-centric spacers he said there is an aluminum(sp?) plate behind the brakes, his reccomendation was to add another plate and get extended bolts...
Would that work?
I trust this guy since his running a 330bhp nova that got third fastest car at PVS...so im sure he knows what his on about.
But anyone done this before?

If you spaced out from behind the disk you would need to space out the calipers too though.

Your choice is spacers or a wide track kit really. Spacers are cheap, a wide track kit is a grand

spacers are only 20 quid. But you will need to buy the new extended bolts.

The thing is though, there isn't an aluminium plate behind the brakes.
If you want to do it properly then save up and get a proper wide track kit which consits off a new rear beam and new front suspension arms. It's all rally kit hence the high price.

The wide track kit would probably cost you less in the long run (depending on the length of time you have the car, obviously)
Spacing the brakes sounds dodgy as fuck to me
