Since lowering my ibiza, i've had no end of trouble with what I can only describe as a short(ish) steel bar with a balljoint on each end.
Its about 10" long and connects my suspension strut with the rest of the car.
Essentially whats happening is the nut connecting the balljoint to the strut is getting worn down and creating itself a little room to play, consequently resulting in a knocking sound when ever maneauvouring the car on fullish lock. I've replaced both of these bars (driver and passenger sides) a couple of months ago and it cured the knocking, however this morning I'm sure i heard a creak, meaning that one of them is on its way again and before long i'll be knocking.
Whatever this part of my car is called - is it possible to get some sort of "uprated" version, as surely lowering your car shouldn't cause this to happen?
Cheers

for some vehicles you can get shortened ARB links,
or brackets to lower the arb...
but AFAIK yopu cant get them for an ibiza...
you could but some new ones then cut them and re-weld...probably
