My car fell of the axle stands today, and if put a pretty big dent in the tank. Will this affect it at all?

It wouldn't affect the running of the car.
Maybe need to ask an MOT tester with regards to the MOT though.

as long as it didnt dent it right under the fuel pump.

the tank may appear full quicker now aswell as there aint as much space inside anymore

I'm unsure what the inside of a fuel tank looks like.. were is the pipe/pump for the fuel it self? if a dent was lets say in the center and it spread quite far accross. would this not cause problems with getting fuel to the engine? im not explaining my self very well lol.. would it vause a puddle at one side of the tank?
