Ok, this is on behalf of a mate of mine. He's just tried to have his Corsa GSi MOT'd and it's failed on a FEW things! It needs some TLC and someone handy with the spanners to bring it back to life. Great Resto project for the lovely summer weather were having.

Here's the car:







Here's the failures:

Reason for refusal of certificate:

01 Anti –lock breaking system warning lamp indicates ABS Fault. [3.4.1d]
02 Offside front position lamps not in good working order. [1.1.4a]
03 Offside front tyre has ply or cords exposed. [4.1.C.1b]
04 (rear of both outer side sills) suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded. [2.4.a.2]
05 (both rear) suspension spring mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded. [2.4.a.2]
06 Nearside front (chassis member) suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded. [2.4.a.2]
07 (both rear) break hose excessively deteriorated. [3.6.b.4d]
08 (both front) brake disc excessively worn. [3.5.1h]
09 (both front) break disc excessively pitted. [3.5.1h]
10 Centre exhaust system has a major leak of exhaust gases. [7.1.2a]
11 Emissions not tested because of above.

Advisory Items

12 Windscreen has damage to an area less than 10mm circle within zone A [8.3.1a]
13 Windscreen has damage to an area less than 40mm circle outside zone A [8.3.1d]
14 Nearside front tyre worn close to the legal limit. [4.1.D.1]
15 (both) rear wheel bearing has slight play.
16 Nearside headlight lens chipped
17 Rear tyres getting low
18 Offside front chassis member corroded.
19 Front and Rear exhaust section corroded.
20 General corrosion throughout vehicle structure
21 Nearside parking break & offside rear service brake performances slightly low.
