i got pulled today for the tints on my front windows  i didnt put them on but still annoying becasue i have to take them off. the copper was alrite and let me get my food and allowed me to drive home without a fine, just had to take the bloody things off.
now i have a lot of gluey stuff on my window, wat should i use to get it off, white spirit??
and as i always see a thread about the legal limit of tints, the front ones have to let 70% of light through (mine let 35% lol) and the windscreen has to let 75% through. so you can tint front ones but ahve to let 70% thru.
they used there machine on my standard bit of window at the top and that only let 77% through lol.

I've been pulled for my fronts loads, but they have never given me anything in writing, until then they shall be staying on the car  Sorry to hear they caught you out though mate.

i had to take mine off the front or face a fine and points apparently! mine have been off the fronts for 18months now!

Amazing the money that would have to be spent to supply all those coppers with equipment to test your tints, what a complete f*cking waste of tax payers money.

i had been pulled few months back and got 30quid fine and had to take them off. mine only let in 15% lol so well well under the legal requirment of 70%. When took them off i put some 50% ones on lol as couldnt stand the clearness. Even though still illegal just not as noticeable and nevcer had probs

don't do them yhourself unless your a professional. they will look shit.

yea dont try fittin anything like that mate,iv just tried to fit a dark smoked sunstrip it took me over and hour and still i had not finished it was creased like fuk so ripped it off.
