hia, i was out yestday in my corsa LET looked in my mirror and all i could see was smoke!i pulled over and the car was reving upto about 2000-2500 on its own, engine temp was on about 100 so i drove it back home but when i got home ther wasnt much smoke coming out of it, some smoke coming from under the bonnet and a little blue smoke from the exhaust also the engine temp had dropped alot

can anyone help me out?need to sort it asap.

ah sorry didnt see the help zone

just went outside and checked the oil level and its very high for some reason
started it up and the revs kept stickin to what i reved it to so turned it off, started it again and it was fine idled abit funny now and again but not too bad

turbo seals then is it?thanks for the reply

i know my sump gasket leaked abit anyway and smoked from the oil dripping onto the exhaust but never that much

Sounds like headgasket

The reason your oil level is high is because coolant has mixed with the oil ?

Yeah i've got a scoob still ed, the corsa is my brothers he hasn't got a corsa sport account so he uses mine. Hows yours goin?

Yep sounds like turbo seals. You shouldnt have driven it home to be fair. Soon as a car starts acting up its best to switch it off and get a flat bed.


Not worth damaging it further.

was it on overrun? Or just constantly smoking?
Was the smoke blue or white?

TBH if its high with oil, thats something id sort out first....
