this is after copying/loading windows files ready for installation, cant find anything on google search that works
tried different windows cds, different hard drives etc 
any ideas please?

Is this a new build?
If so, its usually because if the wrong type of RAM for your motherboard.
Try re-seating it.

yeah new build. ram came with board, reseated to no effect
sending mobo back

Did you rule out the memory and proc before sending the board back?
