I got a JBL GT4 10" sub and box brand new for £20. Get a JBL GT4000 600W amp for £50 and you get good power for money

Trust me, go on talk-audio forum and do ask them guys the difference between JBL and Fli and people wont touch a perticular make. A lot of Fli and Vibe products were made to not such a high model and some people had endless problem with the stuff.

Mine sounds alright, 12" 1000watt jbl sub on a 1000watt sony xplod amp.

But my 250watt alpine amp sounds ALOT better on the sub than the sony. Its just not enough power though.

Going to be getting some 6x9's and use the smaller amp on them (dont give me the sub and 6x9 talk) its not a show car so its not overly important!

peak? a 250watt amp on a 1000watt sub.. as aposed to the 1000watt powering a 1000watt sub. Quite a difference in power. I have compared the 2 and the difference is huge
