right just a quick question, if ive changed my coolant and now all of a sudden there is no hot air could there be a chance of an air lock around the heater matrix?

yep deffo, run the engine for 10 - 15 mins with the water cap off and let it bubble away

what will that remove the air, ive done the bleed valve on the radiator but still the same

yeah when it boils the air will seperate and rise to the top of the system (the header tank)
