Good player tbf, but vastly overpaid considering he's always injured.

I read somewhere he's on 80k at toon.

yeah he used to have a clause being paid the highest at his club but that went when newcastle signed owen

It was actually Shearer who had that clause in his contract but said he would not invoke the clause to allow Newcastle to sign Owen
