for those that remember i had a big issue about my payrise at my work (graphic design) and wasn't moving in the right direction. long hours, v.low pay (12k annual) and the boss's are a couple of cunts.

So after some thinking i've decided to carry on my 3 year BA Hons Design in Interaction. i leavt after my first year due to being offered a job in the industry.

I got maximum credits for the first year of uni (135/135) so there wasn't a problem with my carrying on. and to receive the comfirmation letter today leave a huge smile on my face.

so if case you was curious. there you go shall be leaving my work a.s.a.p (just before october probably, to get max money before going into part time) and my start date for uni is the 1st October.

bring on the uni girls and vast amounts of alcohol.

Good choice, if the work etc was crap. Make sure you live in halls/house at Uni. Commuting is the shite.

Well done hope it all works out for you.

I left work just over a year ago pay was an issue but also it was generally pish company. I went to college (No uni for me - im a thick cunt!) for a year, done an HNC in electricl engineering then got an apprenticeship to train up as an instrument technician offshore.

Theres always something you can do if your not happy at work!!

I got a mate who had this problem, we were both on the same course and i got a job 1 day placement a week whilst studying, then the company took me on (graphic design btw) and i haven't been here a year yet and i've started on 18k and it will go up to 22k soon which ain't bad for a first year in the business. Especially as i'm only here for my first 2 yrs to get my experience, then i can move onto a bigger & better studio.

12k is appauling though, would make more than that just doing crappy freelance jobs! Good luck in uni though, hope it all works out
