I found i then had to wax the car again to get the shine back. With turtle wax i usually wax then wash the car around 2 weeks later and the shine is still there.

i think Megs gives ok results but not for the extra money they ask for it compared to other off the shelf products

what process did you use them with?
cant say ive ever had that problem with gold class, but thats not to say you didn't. Did you remove the old wax etc before applying the gold class?

different products are good/bad for different people. i generally use trade megs (#7, #80,#83 etc) now and havnt used gold class for a while. i certainy wouldnt judge megs over all just on the off the shelf products, some products in the gold class, as you said, can be a little over priced for the results.

id cetainly be interested in your experiences, drop me a u2u

The results

In order of how long they made the tyre look wet for.

The top three were too close to cll tbh, so either one of the top three is a good choice, just make sure you clean your tyres good or they will only last a few days.

Turtle wax platinum tyre dressing --- £6.99
Autoglym tyre dressing --- £5.49
Turtle wax nano tech tyre gel --- £5.99
Meguiars hot shine tyre spray bottle --- £8.49
Simoniz back to black wet look spray bottle --- £4.99
Turtle wax wet and black spray bottle --- £4.99
Meguiars endurance tyre gel --- £7.49
Carplan tyre slik spray can --- £2.99

i use megs endurance shine and found it usually lasts quite well.

gotta rub it in well and not put too much on like, plus it smells awesome.

not too keen on spray on bottle things, cos i'd rather not have shiny gel stuff on my brake discs and alloys.

Its true stuff not the punter branded stuff. If the punter branded stuff lasted that long they wouldnt come back so often. Its for car showrooms and forecourt sales etc.
